Saperavi is small bistro in the East Village neighborhood of Manhattan, in New York City. The venue offers indoor and outdoor seating, and features Georgian (the country) cuisine, with American cuisine also available.
Challenge
Time-sensitive website development in time for the grand opening that was only two weeks awayÂ
Solution
Using the WordPress CMS framework, we designed the main website using a slider to promote the venue's cusine so that people knew right away what to expect.
The site featured imagery of the food and venue, and we embedded a gallery that pulled photos from Instagram. When the visitor scrolls down the menu line color changes to burgundy to highlight the logo.
For catering and reservations the client opted for it to be self contained using email forms. Reservations page
Being a rebrand the venue had previous reviews from customers, so we imported those from Google, which will auto-update as they receive new reviews.
The menu was extensive, especially because they had a large list of categories. So we developed the menu using accordians so that the items of each category are shown when you click on that category. This reduces the clutter to the viewer's eye and allows them to focus in on the category they desire.
An Analytics widget added on the website backend dashboard so that they could review who was coming to the site, what days and hours were most used by computers vs mobile or tablets, and how much traffic each was generating.Â

"Bruce and the team met the challenge and delivered a clean website with all the integrated tools we required. They met with us in video meetings regularly to get our input at each stage, and even designed and printed out business cards. They're quick, efficient, and cost-effective. I highly recommend them."
