Things to do near the rental home is relevant, so we build a section for that
Florida Keys directory site, as an extension to the main site.
They were using a branded window of a 3rd party platform that they used for reservations. The task was to develop a new website and then integrate certain aspects between the 3rd party app and the website.
Using the WordPress CMS framework, we designed the main website using three sliders for the big messages, followed by a variety of sections on the home page that summarised more detailed pages buried within the site, including the rental homes, things to do in the area, the UVP (unique value proposition), and contact info.
Moreover, we felt it would serve their visitors better if we provided in-depth information beyond just the accouterments of the homes, but also included 'things to do in the area' (such as parks and beaches, museums, bars, and restaurants, and hiking, fishing, and sports, history about Marathon and the Florida Keys, and travel information, including directions from various points north and south, airports, trains, buses, and shuttles.
Separately, we built an entirely separate Directory website on an extended Keyscove URL -- keyscove.com/directory
Lastly, we set up the company in the POWERLISTINGS dashboard, where their information is synced on 65 location-based directories. Analytics reveals that people view them more so on laptops than mobile, except for Sundays, that their heaviest viewed day online is Monday, and that they've averaged 6-15 views per hour in January 2022.
