Incognito Worldwide CEO is in the upper  1% of top reviewers on TripAdvisor. A long time and extensive traveler, Bruce T. Dugan started writing reviews as a hobby. With 73,000 readers on TripAdvisor, he is now taking it a little more seriously.

After being notified, his first reaction was — with a chuckle — that “My brother always said I was a closet recreation director.” He then went on to explain that “I do tend to like pointing people to interesting and nice places. Currently, I’m in Buenos Aires. But whether here, India, New York, or other places I’m familiar with, whenever I meet foreigners in the city, I’m quick to ask them what do you like?  What do you want to do or see? I then create a list for them to find the best of what they seek. For whatever reason it makes me feel good to have been able to pass along the information  — perhaps it’s something in my DNA.”

Bruce didn’t set out to be one of the top reviewers on TripAdvisor.

Then again, his life tends to take him to places he doesn’t plan for.

He is a true vagabonder  — in 2004 a 10-day trip to Buenos Aires turned into a 6-year stay. In 2012 a 90-days trip to southern India turned into a 6-year stay, where he still maintains an apartment. Living in both countries, he says, Both, were life-changing and amazing experiences.

With 73,000+ readers, he says he takes his reviews seriously. “I don’t tend to trash bad places; I prefer to seek out and find but prefers to seek out and find exceptionally good places and values, and write about them.”
